Genshin Impact Charlotte’s Skills Overview

Genshin Impact Charlotte’s skills include normal attacks that deal Cryo damage, an Elemental Skill that applies Cryo and deals continuous Cryo damage, and an Elemental Burst that deals large-scale Cryo damage and restores HP for all team members, with the amount of HP restored based on Charlotte’s attack power.

1 Normal Attack: Cold Color Photography Law

Charlotte aims at the target with her specially made camera, “Mr. Wenhengting”, and performs up to three attacks, dealing Cryo damage.

Initial Power: Cryo Every once in a while, after Charlotte performs a heavy attack, she will drop a piercing breath spike that deals Cryo AoE damage.

2. Elemental Skill: Framing - Ice Point Composition Law

Charlotte condenses the determination of an ace reporter and fully displays her photography skills. Depending on whether you tap or hold down the button, different effects are produced.

Tap Charlotte uses “Mr. Wenhengting” to perform a neat snapshot on the enemies in front of her, dealing Cryo AoE damage and applying “Instant Silhouette” to up to 5 hit enemies. During its duration, “Instant Silhouette” will intermittently deal Cryo damage to enemies.

Hold Open the viewfinder of “Mr. Wenhengting” and enter the composition state. The viewfinder will gradually expand to its maximum frame during the hold period. In this state, Charlotte can move and change direction.

When the hold ends, “Mr. Wenhengting” will deal Cryo damage to the enemies locked in the viewfinder and apply the same “Instant Silhouette” as tapping; if the skill is released after the viewfinder reaches its maximum frame, it will instead apply a longer-lasting and higher-damage “Focused Impression”, making this skill’s cooldown longer.

3. Elemental Burst: Freeze Frame - All-Around Confirmation

Charlotte uses frost to condense the signature of “Steam Bird Report”, establishing a “Confirmation Scene” that deals Cryo AoE damage and restores HP for all team members. The amount of HP restored is based on Charlotte’s attack power.

During its duration, “Mr. Wenhengting” will intermittently attack enemies within it, dealing Cryo damage.

Continuously restores HP for characters on the field within it. The amount of HP restored is based on Charlotte’s attack power.

4. Talent One: Impact Moment

When defeating an enemy marked with “Focused Impression”, the cooldown of Framing - Ice Point Composition Law is reduced by 2 seconds. The cooldown of this Elemental Skill can be reduced up to 4 times every 12 seconds through this method.

5. Talent Two: Diverse Investigation

For each Mondstadt character in the team other than Charlotte herself, Charlotte gains a 5% healing bonus; for each non-Mondstadt character in the team, Charlotte gains a 5% Cryo DMG bonus.

6. Talent Three: First-Person Shutter

After enabling “Special Analysis Zoom Lens” in your backpack or gadget shortcut slot, you can use a special zoom photo function with your camera. After Charlotte enables this item, her Elemental Skill “Framing - Ice Point Composition Law” can no longer produce its original effect when held down but can take photos in a more special way…
