Cyan Worlds has announced that the latest 3D remake of the classic adventure game series, *Riven*, will be released on June 25 in North America and Europe, and June 26 in Asia. The game will be available on platforms such as Steam, GOG, Mac, Meta Quest 2, and Meta Quest 3, with support for multiple languages including Simplified Chinese.

*Riven* is a complete 3D remake of the original 1997 classic point-and-click adventure game, *Riven: The Sequel to Myst*, developed by Cyan Worlds. This new version moves away from the traditional point-and-click mechanics, allowing players to freely explore and navigate the game world in a fully immersive 3D environment.

Interestingly, this project began as an unofficial fan effort to create a fully 3D version of *Riven* back in 2009. In 2019, Cyan Worlds officially endorsed the project and invited members of the fan team, known as The Starry Expanse Project, to collaborate on the development. Now, after years of anticipation, the game is finally set to launch, offering both new and returning players the chance to experience the timeless adventure in an entirely new way.
