Marvel Rivals Coming to PS5: Game Development Underway
NetEase Games and Marvel Games have announced that their upcoming PvP shooter, "Marvel Rivals," featuring Marvel superheroes, will be launching on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, as well as on Xbox Series X|S. The game will be free-to-play with in-game purchases. Additionally, during today’s "State of Play" broadcast, it was revealed that a PS5 version is in development, with a closed beta test (CBT) scheduled for July.
"Marvel Rivals" is a 6v6 team-based action shooter that brings together popular Marvel heroes and villains, including Iron Man, the Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy, the X-Men, and Venom. Players can choose their favorite characters, each with unique abilities, to form teams and battle against others. The game also features destructible environments, adding an extra layer of excitement and strategy to the battles.
