Tiny Garden: New Farm Simulation Game Released!
Game development team Ao Norte has announced their latest project, Tiny Garden, a new simulation game currently in development for PC via Steam. Alongside the announcement, they have released a promotional video for players to enjoy.
About Tiny Garden
Tiny Garden is a unique simulation game where players build a miniature farm inside a plastic toy that resembles a clamshell. By opening the toy, players can set up fields and plant crops. Turning the lever on the side of the toy allows the crops to grow and eventually become harvestable, all while maintaining their toy-like appearance.
Players can plant a variety of vegetables such as carrots, daikon radishes, and lettuce, as well as other plants like sunflowers, cacti, and shrubs. Each plant affects its surrounding environment uniquely—for example, cacti may create a desert-like area around them, while sunflowers can spread sunlight to nearby crops. Players can also install fountains to water the surrounding land.
Gameplay Mechanics
Seeds for these plants are primarily obtained through exchanging them with other crops. Unlocking new plants requires strategic placement of different crops. Additionally, furniture and items to decorate the farm can also be acquired through crop exchanges. This whimsical approach aims to evoke a sense of nostalgia while also showcasing the complexities of crop production.
Kickstarter Campaign
The development team has announced that Tiny Garden will soon launch a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter. More game details will be revealed during the campaign. If you're interested in this charming and compact farming simulation, be sure to add it to your wishlist and stay updated on its progress!
