Toronto-based development studio Thousand Stars Studio has announced their upcoming Bollywood-inspired fantasy RPG Aikyam, set to release on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Currently, the game is planned to support English only.
About Aikyam
Aikyam is a third-person fantasy RPG inspired by Bollywood films, known for their musical and dance performances. The game features an Indian-themed fantasy world where battles are interspersed with dance sequences. Characters are designed in a unique chibi style, enhancing the visual appeal and charm.
Story and Setting
The story is set in a village called Aikyam, following three protagonists from different generations: Vishva, Ramli, and Guru-ji. They embark on a quest to solve the mystery of their revered village chief's disappearance. Along the way, they become entangled in a demonic plot involving the theft of the powerful artifact "Celestial Glue," which plunges the world into eternal darkness. To restore hope to the villagers, they must use song and dance in battles to challenge the demons and save their world.
