Kasedo Games has revealed plans to release the highly anticipated sequel to the popular turn-based strategy game "Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus," titled "Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus II," on Steam. Developed by Bulwark Studios, the game is set to support multiple languages including Simplified Chinese.
Continuing the storyline from its predecessor, "Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus II" delves into the intense conflict between the ancient dynasty of the Necrons awakening from millennia of slumber and the invading Adeptus Mechanicus. Players will have the choice to align with either the Necrons or the Adeptus Mechanicus, experiencing distinct campaign stories and technological advancements to vanquish their enemies.
In line with its predecessor, the game enlists the renowned British fantasy author, Ben Counter, known for his contributions to the "Warhammer 40K" series novels, to craft an epic narrative for players to immerse themselves in. Player choices throughout the game will have the potential to significantly impact the storyline and its ultimate conclusion.
Building upon the rich strategic elements of its predecessor, "Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus II" allows players to manage vital resources, deploy forces strategically to defend against enemy incursions, and engage in intense turn-based battles utilizing the unique abilities and strategies of various unit types from both factions, ultimately aiming to crush their foes and secure victory on the battlefield.
