DAVE THE DIVER: Limited-Time Free Godzilla Crossover DLC Released
Dave the Diver' Releases Free Godzilla Content Pack DLC Across Multiple Platforms
Mintrocket, a subsidiary of Nexon, has just launched a free Godzilla-themed DLC, the "Godzilla Content Pack," for Dave the Diver. This new content is available on Steam, Nintendo Switch, and PS4|5 platforms. Players can claim the DLC from now until November 23, 2024. If you own the game and are a fan of Godzilla, don’t miss out on this limited-time opportunity.
Dave the Diver is a pixel art action-adventure RPG set in the mysterious "Blue Hole" ocean. Players dive for fish during the day and manage a sushi restaurant at night, blending elements of business management and action-adventure. The new free DLC introduces a storyline where the protagonist discovers a wounded Godzilla resting in the deep sea, kicking off an exciting new narrative.
By installing the Godzilla DLC, players will gain access to the following additional content:
1. New Missions: Three Godzilla-related missions are added. Note that these missions become available after reaching "Chapter 5" of the main storyline.
2. New Dishes: The DLC includes new recipes inspired by Godzilla and Ebirah.
3. Ocean Exploration: Collectible Godzilla models scattered throughout the ocean.
This DLC is packed with engaging content. Besides featuring Godzilla, players will encounter familiar elements from the movies, such as the monster-fighting organization G-Force and its member, Miki, all perfectly recreated in pixel art. As the story progresses, Dave will also pilot a G-Force submarine for underwater adventures and battles.
To coincide with the DLC release, the main game has been updated to version 1.0.2.1373. This update adds support for controller vibration and mouse buttons 4 and 5, adjusts sushi restaurant staff management icons, and fixes numerous bugs.
Dave the Diver is available now on Steam, Nintendo Switch, and PS4|5 platforms. The free "Godzilla Content Pack" DLC can be claimed until November 23, 2024. Additionally, to celebrate the collaboration, Steam is offering a 25% discount on the game until June 4.
