Rubedo:The Occult Dawn The Occult Dawn | Open-World RPG Announced

The game development team, Albert Nemec, has announced their current project, an open-world RPG titled "Rubedo: The Occult Dawn," scheduled for release on PC Steam in 2025.

Set in a world where magic was eradicated over 50 years ago, players take on the role of an alchemist and the sole survivor of a witch hunt. After spending a lifetime in prison, the protagonist is granted freedom through a royal agreement and tasked with releasing the kingdom's sealed magic to fend off impending invasion.

In this game, players can choose to join one of three different factions, unlocking exclusive quests, stories, or equipment. Faced with magic feared by the people, players must make a crucial choice: lead the kingdom into a new golden age of magic or use ancient souls and curses to sow chaos.

The combat system utilizes a turn-based approach, allowing players to combine nine alchemical symbols to create over 30 powerful sigils to defeat opponents. Through alchemy research, players can strengthen their characters and even build their own secret hideouts to revive ancient mystical rituals.
