Guateque Games, a game development team, has announced the upcoming release of their new shooting game "Why Did The Chicken Cross The Road?" on PC via Steam. Alongside the announcement, they have also unveiled the store page and promotional video.

"Why Did The Chicken Cross The Road?" is a pixel art-style shooting game that incorporates elements of Roguelike gameplay. In this game, chickens, a species on the brink of extinction, have learned to wield weapons. It's time for them to leave the farm, seek answers, and seek revenge. Any problem they encounter can be solved with a bullet to the face!

Players will take control of a gun-wielding chicken to eliminate foxes and other predators while enhancing their weapons to improve their combat abilities. Upon accumulating a certain number of enemy kills, players can activate the "EGGSTASY" mode to unleash maximum firepower, making themselves the most threatening presence in the chicken coop.
