Genshin Impact 4.6 | New time challenge position for Fontaine
In the 4.6 version of Genshin Impact, the Fendan region has introduced several new time-limited challenges. Here's a comprehensive guide to the locations of these new Fendan time-limited challenges in Genshin Impact 4.6.
Important Information
There are a total of 34 time-limited challenges, with 33 counting towards achievements. These consist of 25 standard challenges, 4 Manta Ray challenges, 4 Screw Octopus challenges, and 1 Whirlpool challenge. Out of these, 6 challenges can be detected using a Treasure Compass.
Note: The 6 time-limited challenges that can be detected with the Treasure Compass will not be listed separately. Some non-standard challenge locations are marked with red numbers and their respective challenge types are mentioned.
Nosytroi Region (1-3)
1. North of Petrelik Village on a small island. Challenge: Collect elemental particles.
2. South of Petrelik Village on a small island. Challenge: Collect particles.
3. On a high platform in the western part of the middle floor of the Faded Castle. Challenge: Collect particles.
Ancient Sea of Yolda (4-9)
4. In front of Cesaleum Palace Hall. Challenge: Collect particles.
5. Near a colorful sea anemone to the south of a Teleport Waypoint. Challenge: Collect particles.
6. Northwest of Challenge 5, near a large leaf. Challenge: Detonate explosive barrels.
7. Inside the highest shell north of Yanus Gate. Challenge: Break Fat Fruit (part of a Screw Octopus puzzle).
8. Middle Screw Octopus challenge between Challenge 7's sea anemones. Challenge: Collect particles. Requires completing the Screw Octopus challenge east of Challenge 7.
9. Automatic challenge inside Yanus Gate upon entry. Challenge: Navigate through water rings.
Noble Waterway (10-13)
10. West of the Golden Waterway, right next to the Teleport Waypoint. Challenge: Collect particles.
11. East of the Teleport Waypoint, below the Golden Waterway. Challenge: Collect particles.
12. At the bottom of a small path west of Challenge 11. Challenge: Navigate through water rings.
13. At the bottom of the Golden Waterway, follow the path from Challenge 12 straight ahead. Challenge: Reach the finish line before two Screw Octopuses.
Noble Avenue South (14-17)
14. On a high leaf beside a small path north of the Teleport Waypoint. Challenge: Break Fat Fruit.
15. On a leaf at the end of the path, on a cliff. Challenge: Complete a kinetic ball challenge without detonating barrels.
16. At the top of a stone pillar directly south of the Teleport Waypoint. Challenge: Collect particles.
17. On a mountain peak at the indicated location. Challenge: Open the treasure chest within 20 seconds.
Capitoline Hill (18-21)
18. On top of a plant southwest of the Teleport Waypoint. Challenge: Break Fat Fruit (not counted towards the achievement challenges).
19. On a mountaintop east of Challenge 18. Challenge: Defeat monsters.
20. On top of a plant east of the Teleport Waypoint. Challenge: Collect particles.
21. In the western part of the underground space of the Golden Palace. Challenge: Complete a particle collection challenge.
Noble Avenue North (22-28)
22. On top of a stone pillar directly below the Teleport Waypoint. Challenge: Obtain Puffy Beast's skill to activate a resonance point.
23-25. Above spherical plants near the underwater path. Three challenges share a single post. Challenges: Collect a specified number of particles.
26. On an underwater plant in the middle layer of the northern Golden Waterway. Challenge: Collect particles.
27. Below a cliff, under a stone pillar southwest of Challenge 26. Challenge: Break Fat Fruit.
28. On the top of a cliff directly above Challenge 27. Challenge: Avoid Dirty Fruits and reach the current's endpoint.
