Phantom Line, an Open-World Co-op Shooter, Launches on Steam
Antistatic Studios has announced the upcoming release of a new game titled "Phantom Line," slated to launch on platforms such as PC Steam. Simultaneously, they have unveiled the game's store page for players to peruse.
"Phantom Line" is an open-world cooperative (1-4 players) shooter set in a post-nuclear era on the European continent. Players assume the role of special police force operatives serving under a company known as "Mortfield Industries," tasked with scouring vast battlefields to investigate various supernatural phenomena and prevent their occurrence.
Amidst the backdrop of nuclear warfare erupting worldwide, the emergence of supernatural anomalies and monsters, collectively referred to as "ANOMALIES," poses an ever-growing threat. These anomalies breach into the human world through temporal rifts, escalating their impact on Earth. To combat this, players engage in the "H.U.S.K" operator program, transferring their consciousness into artificially created bodies to confront these otherworldly threats.
From screenshots captured from the Steam page, players can observe characters wielding handguns or assault rifles, equipped with provisions such as food and water, as they venture into battle. Locations where anomalous phenomena occur include forests, ports, and construction sites. Resource management is paramount, as players must adapt on the fly if their communications are severed, relying on whatever supplies are available on-site.
"Phantom Line" is currently under development. Those intrigued by its gameplay or setting are encouraged to follow the development team's X (formerly Twitter) account or add the game to their wishlist.
