Wargaming.net has announced a new collaboration with the popular anime series "Girls und Panzer" for their game "World of Tanks." From May 16th to May 31st, players can expect an influx of reinforcements with fresh content inspired by the beloved series.

In addition to the legendary "Anglerfish Team" from Ooarai Girls' Academy, players will also encounter crews from St. Gloriana Girls' College and Kuromorimine Girls' Academy, each showcasing unique tank strategies. On the vehicle front, not only will players have the chance to command the Pz.Kpfw. IV Ausf. H Ankou, but they'll also be able to acquire two additional tanks inspired by "Girls und Panzer": the BT-42 Jatkosota HS and the Tiger II Kuromorimine!

The Tiger II Kuromorimine holds a formidable position on the battlefield, boasting a threatening turret capable of dealing significant damage. Its robust armor aligns perfectly with Kuromorimine's emphasis on precise attacks and impregnable defense. As a vital member of Kuromorimine in national Sensha-dō high school tournaments, under the command of Erika Itsumi, the Tiger II played a heroic role during the 63rd tournament finals, albeit losing to Ooarai Girls' Academy.

On the other hand, the BT-42 Jatkosota HS accommodates three female crew members: Mika, Aki, and Mikko. Excelling in close-range combat, the BT-42's large-caliber howitzer truly shines in short-distance engagements. One of BT-42's shining moments occurred during its showdown with Ooarai Girls' Academy, where it bravely defeated an entire line of M26 Pershings.

Characters from "Girls und Panzer" are passionate about Sensha-dō and react to events around them. They're voiced by their original voice actors, including all members of the Anglerfish Team from Ooarai Girls' Academy (Miho Nishizumi, Saori Takebe, Hana Isuzu, Yukari Akiyama, Mako Reizei), Erika Itsumi from Kuromorimine Girls' Academy, and Mika, Aki, and Mikko from St. Gloriana Girls' College. Players can team up with their favorite Sensha-dō captains, show support, and complete missions together to recruit beloved characters for their vehicles!

Furthermore, players can choose from various customization elements inspired by the "Girls und Panzer" universe, including school and character-themed emblems, as well as team and school-themed insignias. They can also obtain 2D-themed styles from St. Gloriana Girls' College and Kuromorimine Girls' Academy to adorn their favorite tanks. By participating in special missions or completing designated tasks, players can earn a variety of "Girls und Panzer" themed items as rewards, including highly sought-after crew members Miho, Mika, and Erika.
