Witch and Lilies RPG Early Access Launching 5/24!
Japanese game developer Stromatosoft has announced that their upcoming yuri-themed dungeon exploration RPG game, "Witch and Lilies" (ウィッチ・アンド・リリィズ), will be available for early access on Steam starting May 24th. The game is set to support English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese languages.
"Witch and Lilies" focuses on vast dungeon adventures with turn-based combat. The game features a storyline scripted by the writer of the "Corpse Party" series, Shingo Gyoda, and collaborative planning by Kōsuke Yamagishi, who previously worked on tri-Ace games at Square. The main development is handled by Japanese game developer Tasto α.
In the game, players assume the role of a team leader of adventurers, choosing a team of five from 10 different classes, including warriors, knights, mages, and scouts. They can customize character growth through a skill tree system, experiencing the excitement of intense dungeon exploration and battles.
What sets "Witch and Lilies" apart from typical dungeon exploration RPGs is its inclusion of yuri elements. Various beautiful girl characters appear, each with their own affection and dissatisfaction levels. By increasing their affection to a certain level, players can trigger various romantic events such as dates and confessions, and even develop romantic relationships with these girls.
Once players establish romantic relationships with the girls, they gain additional assistance in battles, including powerful combined attacks, and various advantageous bonuses during exploration, enhancing their gameplay experience.
However, even in romantic relationships, challenges may arise. Jealousy or the involvement of third parties can lead to changes in relationships or even breakups. Therefore, properly maintaining romantic relationships is also a significant aspect of the game's enjoyment.
