Hades could take over a hundred hours to 100%, but only about a quarter of that for most to complete the "main" story. Though it's only in Early Access right now, the length of Hades 2 appears to be similar – but there's a lot more to do this time around, and a lot more content yet to come.

Just like its predecessor, the time it takes to beat the final boss of Hades 2 ultimately depends on a player's skill. Some will find themselves at the final encounter after less than ten runs, while others may find it takes dozens of attempts to finally make it all the way down to the realm of Hades – and then there's the time it takes to learn and finally defeat the final boss.

Each full run of the various levels that lead downward to the Underworld takes around 20 to 40 minutes, depending on how fast a player is. Depending on your skill level, the Hades 2 main story length could vary from around ten hours to twenty or more.

But beating the final boss of Hades 2 is far from the ending of the game, even in Early Access, as there's still plenty to do after finishing a run for the first time.

The "true" ending to the game, and a lot of new content, will be added to Hades 2 as Early Access progresses and in the final release of the game. This will likely extend the main story length significantly.

The completionist run for Hades 2 is far from complete in the Early Access version of the game, but after beating the final boss for the first time, Melinoë still has plenty of boxes to tick, collectibles to collect, and things to upgrade. After beating the final boss in Hades 2, Melinoë can still

1.Unlock new Aspects for the Nocturnal Arms

2.Improve her relationships with encampment NPCs and the Gods

3.Acquire all Keepsakes, and upgrade them

4.Finish all Incantations in the Cauldron

5.Collect every Arcana card and upgrade Grasp to maximum

6.Fill out the Codex

Achievements will not be added to Hades 2 until it officially releases, so it will be difficult to track how far you are in your completionist journey without directly checking each page. All in all, it will take an enormous number of runs to completely finish Hades 2, so much so that – just like the first game – it will easily take a player more than 100 hours to finish upgrading & collecting everything and exploring the story to its absolute fullest.

This will be especially true when the full version of the game is released, and the time it takes to beat Hades 2 will likely continue to increase as even more content will be added in the coming months.
