Pokemon GO ＂Tianci＂ Free special survey debut! ＂Enemy Week＂ throw ghost/strike ghost appearance

Niantic, the American company behind the popular GPS-based mobile game Pokémon GO, has announced the release of a new free special research event featuring Tyanxi! Simultaneously, the latest battle event, "Rival Week," is set to officially kick off starting May.

Tyanxi Special Research: Pink Radiance

The special research event, "Pink Radiance," will be available for all trainers starting from May 1st, 2024, at 10:00 AM Taiwan time, completely free of charge! Trainers who complete this special research will have the opportunity to encounter the mythical Pokémon, Tyanxi. There is no deadline for this special research, allowing trainers to complete it at their own pace. However, for those who have previously participated in the limited special research during Pokémon GO Fest 2023, completing this new special research will only reward them with Tyanxi Candy.

Additionally, from May 1st, 2024, at 12:00 AM to May 3rd, 2024, at 11:59 PM Taiwan time, there will be a Tyanxi-themed Field Research event. By spinning PokéStops, trainers can obtain field research tasks related to the event theme. Completing these tasks will reward trainers with Tyanxi Mega Energy and a chance to encounter Gossifleur!

Rival Week

Rival Week will officially commence from May 4th, 2024, at 10:00 AM to May 9th, 2024, at 8:00 PM Taiwan time. Participating in this event will grant trainers the following bonus rewards:

- 10x XP for spinning Gym PokéStops
- Doubled candy when catching Pokémon
- Increased chance of encountering shiny Meowth, Ekans, Machop, Gastly, Grimer, and Onix!

- Alolan Sandshrew (shiny available)
- Mankey (shiny available)
- Weedle (shiny available)
- Machop (shiny available)
- Skorupi (shiny available)
- Ralts (shiny available)
- Lickitung (shiny available)
- Barboach (Galarian form available, shiny available)

In addition to the aforementioned Pokémon, trainers will also have the chance to encounter the following Pokémon during the event!

From May 4th, 2024, at 10:00 AM to May 6th, 2024, at 10:00 AM: shiny Meowth, shiny Ekans

From May 6th, 2024, at 10:00 AM to May 8th, 2024, at 10:00 AM: shiny Machop, shiny Gastly

From May 8th, 2024, at 10:00 AM to May 9th, 2024, at 8:00 PM: shiny Grimer, shiny Onix
