Loop Hero | Tips ans Tricks for Beginners
In Loop Hero, equipment and buildings play a crucial role in progressing through the game. Wondering how to arrange buildings during the early stages? Here are some tips for early-game strategies in Loop Hero:
Loop 1 Strategy:
Avoid offensive equipment during Loop 1. Focus on defensive gear because enemy attack power is low. Remember that time passes during battles.
Campfires provide 20% healing, so consider selling some health to extend time and spawn more enemies on empty tiles and buildings.
Meadows (grasslands) are essential for healing. Place small rocks in a cross shape in the middle of the meadows.
When you get monster cards, predict the spawn time and strategically place them.
Spiders can be placed in corners to disperse enemy forces. Similarly, Big Wolves can be spaced two tiles apart.
Vampires are effective for immediate healing. Place them where they can fight the most slimes (avoid overlapping with other spawning buildings to prevent excessive health loss).
Skeletons are best placed near the campfire at the start of the loop (they provide higher-level equipment early on).
Loop 3-4 Strategy:
By this point, you can complete your spawning buildings. Since healing options are limited (only campfires and meadows), place each spawning building only three times.
Goblin Camps (spawned by rocks) can be removed using the Empty Space card if they become too damaging.
If your equipment is good, consider placing extra Skeleton Crypts to ensure better equipment quality.
Vaults: Leave one space empty when surrounded to maximize resource and equipment quality. Beware of the tough Stone Golems that appear when surrounded.
After Building Spawning Structures:
Once you’ve set up your spawning buildings, you’ll receive plenty of equipment and cards.
Keep monster cards in hand and continuously place terrain cards. Group mountains together, but be cautious of boss bars (don’t accidentally trigger them).
For boss fights, equip your best gear: defense, healing, and lifesteal. Save evasion gear.
When the boss loop approaches, summon the boss as soon as you reach a campfire (even if it overlaps). Fill the surrounding 9 tiles to prevent Palace bonuses.
Open your prepared Treasury for a bunch of cards and high-level equipment. Adjust your gear for the boss fight.
