Student team develops 2D bounce action Pogo Rogue Open Steam for free Early access

Bounce Back Games has released a 2D action game called "Pogo Rogue," and starting today, it's available for free early access on PC via Steam.


"Pogo Rogue" is a 2D action game centered around a pogo stick theme. Players control a character who must jump over floors and walls of buildings, defeat enemies, and collect items to reach the randomly generated tower tops. The pogo stick serves as both a means of movement and an attack mechanism, as players can equip guns at the base of the stick to shoot enemies and perform second or third jumps in mid-air.


The trajectory and control methods of jumps vary depending on the equipped gun. For example, using a shotgun enables powerful jumps, while using a bubble gun allows players to stay airborne, and using a laser gun accelerates movement, among other abilities. Along the way, players can collect power-up items and spend money at shops to restore health, purchase weapons, and buy items to enhance their abilities.


The development team mentioned that the early access period will last approximately one month. After the official release, the game will remain free to play and will continue to improve its graphics and integrate the story.
