Paper Plane action adventure Paper Sky released Steam DEMO

French game team BRUTE FORCE announced today (25th) the development of their new game "Paper Sky," scheduled to be released on PC Steam. They have launched a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter platform starting today, while simultaneously releasing a Steam DEMO version for players to experience.


"Paper Sky" is an interactive 3D action-adventure game where players take on the role of a paper airplane, exploring this charming semi-open world. Each environment, such as settlements, deserts, forests, and an office, features distinct art styles and unique challenges. Players must explore, interact, and learn the flying skills of the paper airplane in their own style.


One of the key mechanics of the game is the seamless switching between the paper airplane and paper ball forms. Players utilize the advantages of different forms to gain momentum and traverse various obstacles. If the flight momentum cannot be maintained, the paper airplane will revert to a ball and rest on the ground until it regains the necessary power and speed for flight. Additionally, collisions with objects will deform the paper airplane, allowing players to alter the flight dynamics and break the boundaries of real-time physics.


The crowdfunding will be conducted in an "All or Nothing" manner, with a goal set at 35,000 euros. The funds will be used for the production of the game's background music and development, without any additional stretch goals or promotions.
