The promo trailer for Roguelike survival game Dark Samurai has been released

Indie game studio Onigiri has announced a promo trailer for Dark Samurai, a Roguelike survival game developed by them and supported by an online collaboration, scheduled for release on PC Steam.

Dark Samurai is a Roguelike Horde Survival game with permanent progression, continuous open world, diverse missions, and online cooperation, set in a demon-infested feudal Japan.

Multiplayer mode

The game supports online cooperation of up to four players. The perfect and stable Rollback Netcode ensures that every participating player can enjoy a lag-free gaming experience anywhere. The multiplayer mode adjusts the difficulty and rewards based on the number of players in the game. You can share spoils and resources with your teammates and work together to tackle chieftains and complete missions.

Horde Survival

You'll be able to destroy demons to collect loot, level up, unlock powerful abilities, and discover legendary samurai gear. Purchase permanent upgrades, which will be retained for the next game. Choose from different character classes, each with their own abilities and weapons, such as swords, bows, and swords in hand, allowing for a variety of play styles and strategic depth.

Open world

The continuous open world inspired by feudal Japan will evolve as you complete your mission. Explore different areas, such as plains, forests, and mountains, each with its own enemies, missions, and secrets. The rich and varied non-linear quest system gives you many opportunities to earn rewards such as coins, items, reputations, skills, and character classes. You'll meet blacksmiths, quest publishers, and shops that will offer you goods and services. Various missions to help local residents, such as protecting the village from demon attacks, will increase your reputation and unlock more opportunities.
