Response to player anticipation for Monster Hunter Now

Niantic has announced that the augmented reality hunting action game "Monster Hunter Now" will undergo updates and modifications starting tomorrow (23rd). In addition to the remote matching mechanism for large-scale hunts introduced on the 18th, upcoming features will include a monster tracker, the ability to sell unwanted materials for ZENY, and additional rewards for group hunts. Officials stated that these adjustments aim to enhance the multiplayer experience, recognizing the enjoyment players find in collaborative gameplay.

Here's the breakdown of the updates

1. Monster Tracker: Players can now designate specific monsters and their difficulty (★). By defeating a certain number of large monsters, they can hunt down their designated target.

2. Material Deletion: Unwanted materials can now be selected in the inventory and destroyed for ZENY.

3. Group Hunt Rewards: Additional fields have been added to enhance the enjoyment of teamwork during group hunts.

4. Adjustment of Part Durability in Group Hunts: Breaking parts during hunts will now be made easier.

5. Guild Card Updates: Players can now customize their guild cards with different backgrounds and poses, adding a touch of personalization.

The development team expressed on the official website: "Many players have expressed a desire to hunt any monster they choose or make use of unwanted materials, rather than simply discarding them. Therefore, we have introduced these features. Furthermore, the essence of 'Monster Hunter' lies in multiplayer gameplay, so we plan to adjust group hunts to enhance this aspect of enjoyment."

Looking ahead, the team assured players that they would continue efforts to ensure a satisfying experience in "MH Now."

As mentioned by producer Chihiro Sugano in a recent interview, continuous improvements are aimed at encouraging players to revisit the game. With the update scheduled for the 23rd, players can expect relief from inventory space constraints and earn ZENY coins needed for enhancing weapons and armor. Additionally, participants in group hunts will have the opportunity to obtain more rewards.
