Today, Riot Games announced that the IP derivative fighting game of League of Legends, Project L, has been renamed as 2XKO. This game is scheduled to be launched in 2025 on XSX|S, PS5, and PC platforms.

The game was first revealed in 2019, featuring modes such as 1v1 and 2v2 battles. Players will be able to control several iconic characters from League of Legends, with confirmed appearances including Lux, Ahri, Ekko, Katarina, Illaoi, Yasuo, and Darius.
Before the release of 2XKO, there will be testing phases, with specific timing to be announced later. Players can register and fill out a questionnaire on the official website to apply for the testing. Successful applicants will be notified via email. 2XKO will make a comprehensive appearance in 2024, featuring in fighting competitions around the world. The first stop will be at the EVO fighting tournament in Japan in April. Players who do not qualify for the initial testing phase need not worry, as the official announcement confirms that there will be an open test towards the end of 2024, allowing more players to experience the game firsthand.
