Note: To proceed with this decryption, you need to complete the world quests The Fond Farewell and Clouds High up in Jade Chamber (the latter is a follow-up to the former).

01 Obtain the Jueyun Jade Fragments

Fragment of Jueyun Jade - Left

Located near a pillar in the Huang Cong Ruins on the map, you will pass by this location during the world quest The Fond Farewell.

Fragment of Jueyun Jade - Right

Located near a water hole in the Qingce Village on the map, you will pass by this location during the world quest Clouds High up in Jade Chamber.

02 Decrypt the Ruins

Interact with the kiln at this location to start the decryption.

According to the given directions and illustrations, proceed to the two ruins, one in the east and one in the west, as shown in the diagram below.

- Decrypting the Eastern Ruins

Defeat the treasure hoarders at this location, then pick up the rubble on the ground (referred to as Rubble A in the following text) and place it in the arrow position indicated in the diagram. This will unlock the ruins' gate on the western side.

Afterward, pick up the rubble from inside the gate (referred to as Rubble B) and place it in the following positions at the ruins on the opposite side, unlocking the eastern ruins' gate:

Enter the eastern ruins' gate (note: there are three Exploding Barrels inside) and obtain the rubble (referred to as Rubble C). Proceed to the northern ruins and place the rubbles A, B, and C in the following positions to unlock the kiln.

Obtain the fragrant wood Jueyun from the kiln and unlock a treasure chest.

- Decrypting the Western Ruins

Activate and defeat the Ruin Hunter at this location (double-click the button), unlocking the gate beneath it. This will give you the rubble (referred to as Rubble D) and a treasure chest.

Afterward, pick up the rubble at the corner of the ruins and obtain Rubble E, along with a rusty key to unlock the left gate.

Proceed downstairs from here and complete the timed challenge at this location to unlock the gate, obtaining Rubble F at the same time.

Finally, place the rubbles D, E, and F in the following positions to unlock the kiln. Interact with the kiln to obtain the fragrant wood Chizhuang and unlock a treasure chest.

- Decrypting the Central Ruins

Return to the central ruins and interact with the kiln again, submitting the two fragrant woods to unlock the central ruins' gate.

Inside the central ruins, defeat the Ruin Guard (activated after approaching the treasure chest) to unlock three treasure chests within the ruins.

03 Fourth Mural

Approach and interact with the Ancient Jueyun deep within the ruins, submitting the two Jueyun Jade fragments.

Exit and re-enter the ruins' gate, then use Elemental Sight to interact with it and enter the hidden room.

Use Elemental Sight to interact with the mural to unlock the achievements Veiled Face of the Murals and Ruins' Tale.
