Tuntun Dragon Adventure | Beginner's Guide to Avoiding Pitfalls in the Early Stage
Beginner Tips for Avoiding Pitfalls in the Adventure of Dragon Tamers
1. Early Game Progression
In the early stages, focus on advancing the main storyline, participating in time-space trials, and maximizing idle earnings before using acceleration treasure chests.
If you have acceleration treasure chests, use them early on instead of hoarding them. Resources in the game roll in, so it's better to make use of them.
(Optional) Complete the main storyline four times a day to receive double rewards. For teaming up in secret realms, don't rush to clear them all in one go.
Be mindful of how you spend diamonds. Consider using them to buy stamina or save them for the gacha pool.
2. Gacha (Summoning) Recommendations
Gacha Strategy:
Prioritize summoning from the new UR (Ultra Rare) pool to acquire core items that are not available in the boss raid shop.
Once you have obtained the core items, and if it doesn't affect the next UR pool, you can consider summoning for the SSR (Super Super Rare) Electro Bird Dragon.
For new players with limited diamonds, it is not recommended to summon for the Electro Bird Dragon initially. It is better to follow the new UR pool and get the core items first. Once you have enough diamonds, then you can consider summoning for the Electro Bird Dragon.
Summoning from the new UR pool guarantees one UR dragon with only one core item required. The other two items are given for free.
In contrast, the Electro Bird Dragon requires an SSR core item, and later on, two more items are needed to obtain the UR form. (Older players often find it challenging to obtain all the items for a single core.)
Don't blindly prioritize summoning the Electro Bird Dragon. That strategy was for old players when the Electro Bird Dragon was the only option. Now, there are too many UR dragons, and it is more effective to acquire a UR dragon from the new pool and progress through the main storyline. The difficulty and cost to obtain an SSR item versus a UR item speak for themselves.
The boss raid event lasts for about 20 days. If you start within the first ten days, the recommended priority is: new UR core > Electro Bird Dragon > two items for the Fire Dragon.
After the initial ten days, you need to consider your diamond reserves. Will summoning for the Electro Bird Dragon affect the next new UR pool? The Fire Dragon is not a necessity at the moment, and the developers might release new dragons of the same kind in the future.
3. Battle Strategies
Utilize Dragon Skills
Introduce the Thunder Dragon, Thor
Boom, boom, boom! Explosive damage
Enter the Wind Dragon, Aeluma
Take off immediately with the wind
Howling winds sweeping by
Dragons soar through thousands of miles in the mid-autumn moonlight
These battles are not controlled and rely purely on stats. Once the seal stones requirements are met, it becomes quite easy. Prioritize hitting the middle path.
Pro tip: If the formation doesn't have enough connections for the first two battles, you can retreat immediately (before refreshing). The chances of success are more likely in the following battles.
4. Using Diamonds
If you're a laid-back player, spend all your diamonds on summoning and don't spend anything else.
Priority: Summoning > buying stamina > refreshing shops
If you want to catch up on progress, prioritize stamina.
5. Shop Purchases
General Shop: Buy all gold coins items.
Friendship Shop: Since you only have enough for two regular card summons from the beginning until now, let's not dwell on that.
Dragon Crystal Shop: Exclusive for big spenders.
Prayer Shop: Gold items > high gacha rates items > regular gacha items > sweep tickets > others. Big spenders can decide at their discretion.
Knights' Shop: Gold hammers > regular gacha. Purchase other items as needed.
6. Enhancing Items
Priority for upgrading stars: Boss damage = minion damage = elite damage > Main dragon's elemental attribute > Others
Priority for refining: Prioritize attack, as other stats are less significant. Failing the stages is usually due to insufficient output, rather than the boss dealing too much damage.
