Genshin Impact ＂The Bewilderment of Alraniar＂ Full Walkthrough Guide

Mission Confusion in the Abyss in Genshin Impact requires us to decrypt the puzzle of the Ruin Grader in the Perpetual Mechanical Array. Here is a detailed guide for completing the mission.

1. Find a way to enter the robot's interior

Teleport to the Windwhisper Terrace statue and make sure your team has characters with shielding abilities.

Head southeast on the map and enter the location indicated by the mission guide.

Avoid the lasers!

Activate Elemental Sight and look for loose white rocks.

Look southwest on the map and follow the guidance of the first accompanying sprite. Use the laser beam of the Ruin Grader to destroy the loose rocks.

2. Proceed forward

Follow the guidance of the first accompanying sprite to a designated location and obtain Chest 1. Then head southwest and follow the second accompanying sprite.

Defeat the Heart of the Ruin Grader through attacks.

3. Find a way to open the seal

Attack the Heart of the Ruin Grader to break the seal formed by the vines.

4. Continue exploring forward

Follow the second accompanying sprite to obtain Chest 2. Attack the Heart of the Ruin Grader again to break another seal.

Clear the Hilichurl camp to obtain Chest 3.

Look up in the southeast direction and use the four-leaf clover to fly to the anchor point.

Activate the anchor point to complete the achievement Crossing the Sandstorm and Mirage - Part 1 (Unlock all anchor points in the Perpetual Canopy, Windworn Wastes, and Storm-Beaten Valley areas).

Fly south using the four-leaf clover and follow the guidance of the third accompanying sprite.

Follow the third accompanying sprite to obtain Chest 4. Attack the Heart of the Ruin Grader once more to break the final seal.

5. Pass through the robot's arm

Travel south on the map and attack the Heart of the Ruin Grader on top to break another seal.

6. Enter the robot's interior

Attack the three groups of Hearts of the Ruin Grader to break the remaining seals. The order doesn't matter.

The first group: Follow the guidance of the fourth accompanying sprite to obtain Chest 5. Attack the designated Hearts of the Ruin Grader to break the seal.

The second group: Fly southeast using the four-leaf clover and head to the entrance of the cockpit.

Continue southeast using the four-leaf clover and enter the designated room.

Travel northeast on the map and attack the designated Hearts of the Ruin Grader to break the seal. Clear the room of mushroom creatures and obtain Chest 6.

Continue southwest on the map and attack the designated Hearts of the Ruin Grader to break the seal. Look up in the southwest direction and attack the designated Hearts to complete this group.

The third group: Go to the entrance of the room and look down in the northwest direction. Follow the indicated path (there is another Heart of the Ruin Grader in the upper right corner of the map).

Attack the Hearts of the Ruin Grader to break the seal. Clear the room of mushroom creatures and obtain Chest 7. Travel north on the map and proceed to the lower level.

In the lower area, Attack the designated Hearts of the Ruin Grader (6 in total). There is no need to defeat the creatures.

7. Enter the cockpit

Proceed through the downward path, enter the wind tunnel, and return to the upper level.

Look southwest on the map and use the four-leaf clover to go to the uppermost level.

Look northeast on the map and use the four-leaf clover to enter the cockpit.

8. Disable the autonomous attack

Approach and deactivate the glowing mission guide device (disables the Ruin Grader's autonomous attack).

Operate the device

Adjust the target and press the button to launch! Destroy the 5 designated loose rocks.

After exiting, complete the achievements Forced Breakthrough Operation and Let me see the power of the giant (viewable in the Achievements - Universe tab).

9. Report back to Aphros

Teleport to the Windwhisper Terrace statue, fly southeast to the location below, and speak with Aphros.

After the conversation, complete the Confusion in the Abyss mission and obtain the achievement Leaning on the Earth.
