Genshin Impact Confirms Phase 2 Banner Characters for 4.1

Genshin Impact has officially revealed which four-star characters will appear in the second part of the ongoing version 4.1. The game features a very tight update schedule and every new version of the game is divided into two banner cycles, each containing a different set of limited characters and weapons.

The first part of the update introduced a new Genshin Impact character named Neuvillette, who arrived alongside the Pyro polearm user Hu Tao on her third re-run. Neuvillette has been introduced as one of the most important characters of the whole Fontaine region, and he's rumored to be even stronger than the Hydro Archon herself.

Genshin Impact's playable roster can be divided into two categories, five-star and four-star characters. Five-stars are usually much more powerful, but they are also much harder to obtain since they run on a 90-wish pity system that guarantees a five-star drop within 90 wishes. Four-star characters have a 10-wish pity, but the drop odds are divided between three different playable units. The game's official Twitter account has confirmed that Wriothesley, Venti, Thoma, Chongyun, and Dori will be featured on the upcoming phase 2 banner of Genshin Impact update 4.1.

Wriothesley - five-star Cryo catalyst user

Venti - five-star Anemo bow user

Thoma - four-star Pyro polearm user

Chongyun - four-star Cryo claymore user

Dori - four-star Electro claymore user

Wriothesley will be the only new character in the second banner phase, and he's confirmed to have a five-star rarity. There is a lot of hype around this character since he will be the first catalyst user to have a Cryo Vision, which will allow Wriothesley to apply Cryo elemental damage with his Normal Attacks constantly. This means that players will probably have to experiment with many different team compositions in order to find the right party for this new Genshin Impact DPS character.

Previous gameplay leaks have revealed that Wriothesley performs very well when placed in team compositions that revolve around the Melt and Frozen elemental reactions in Genshin Impact. The Anemo Archon Venti is widely considered one of the best Anemo supports in the game alongside Kaedehara Kazuha.

One of Venti's greatest strengths is the fact that he can be used in almost any team composition in Genshin Impact since Anemo cannot interfere with the party's main reaction. Another reason behind Venti's popularity is the fact that he's very free-to-play friendly as players don't need to invest too many resources to make him viable.
