Best Weapons For Freminet In Genshin Impact
As one of the newest four-star DPS characters available in Genshin Impact, Freminet is an experienced and shy diver who uses a combination of cryo and physical damage to harm his enemies. His unique elemental skill causes his attacks to become infused with cryo, while a special timer ticks down whenever he completes a swing of his greatsword.
By reactivating this skill when his timer is at different intervals, he will initiate another attack that deals either cryo damage, physical damage, or a mixture of both. If you are curious about which weapons will best optimize his personal damage, check out the list below.
8. Favonius Greatsword - Four Star

Since Freminet is intended to be played as an on-field DPS attacker, most of his weapons focus on providing him with stats such as an ATK bonus, or an increase in either your crit rate or damage. With that being said, weapons that supply both Freminet and his team with extra ER, or energy recharge, can still be somewhat viable.
A great example would be the Favonius Greatsword, as it generates extra energy particles when you successfully land a critical strike. These particles will fly in the air, so you can either catch them as Freminet or quickly swap to another character and resupply their elemental burst.
7. Snow-Tombed Starsilver - Four Star

Since Freminet can decide to deal specific amounts of physical or cryo damage, he can be built in two general directions. The Snow-Tombed Starsilver is the perfect four-star option if you're looking to equip Freminet with a weapon that increases his physical damage.
Furthermore, since Freminet has a pretty large cooldown on his elemental skill when his burst is not active, the extra instance of damage this weapon provides a supplemental attack in between your combos. Specifically, when you attack enemies with this weapon, there is a 60 percent chance that a large icicle will drop onto your opponents, dealing even more damage if said enemies are currently afflicted with cryo.
6. Prototype Archaic - Four Star

If you are looking for an easy-to-obtain instant buff to Freminet's damage, then the Prototype Archaic is the perfect early-game claymore for you. This weapon is forgable at the blacksmith in Mondstat and becomes available very early on in the main storyline.
This is yet another claymore that allows you to deal another instance of damage while you are waiting for your cooldowns. With this greatsword, simply attack your opponents with basic attacks, and you have a chance to create a small AOE explosion that deals 240 percent of your character's attack.
5. Serpent Spine - Four Star

If you find yourself struggling to supply your Freminet with enough crit rate, then this is the perfect claymore for you, as it boasts a sizable 27.6 percent crit rate increase while also buffing your attack. The weapon's passive causes you to gain stacks the longer you are present on the battlefield, with each stat making you deal eight percent increased damage, but also taking 2.4 percent more damage.
Since Freminet likes to take up a large amount of playtime in your team's rotations, this weapon perfectly synergizes with his kit, as long as you have available healers to assist him when he starts taking increased damage. While the Serpent Spine is certainly a great option for Freminet, you can only obtain this claymore via the battlepass, so it is locked behind a paywall.
4. Tidal Shadow - Four Star
Added as a craftable weapon with the 4.0 update, the Tidal Shadow is themed around Fontaine's core gameplay mechanic of tanking damage to increase your other stats. Specifically, this weapon gives you a solid 41.3 percent attack, and the weapon's passive causes you to gain an extra 24 percent attack whenever you are healed.
Since Freminet is an on-field DPS character, that means that he will spend the majority of his time constantly auto-attacking, at the risk of taking some pretty heavy damage. By using an off-field healer such as Kuki or Kokomi, you'll be able to consistently achieve a 75.3 percent total attack increase.
3. Skyward Pride - Five Star

Since the Skyward Pride is available in the standard banner, chances are that you may have received enough free wishes to receive this five-star claymore. Since this greatsword is a part of the Skyward series, it will supply you with energy recharge, which will assist you in always having your burst available off cooldown.
Furthermore, the weapon's passive gives you a flat-out eight percent damage increase from all sources, while also generating an AOE vortex that deals extra damage. This is called a vacuum blade, which will deal 80 percent of your attack as damage over eight different damage instances.
2. Song Of Broken Pines - Five Star
The Song of Broken Pines is Eula's unique weapon, but it can still be used by Freminet if he is built to deal physical damage. This weapon provides massive stat increases, with a physical damage bonus of 20.7 percent and a bonus 16 percent attack for free, which will help you defeat difficult enemies with ease.
Furthermore, this weapon's passive not only buffs your playable character, but also your entire team. Simply attack while using this weapon to generate up to four stacks, and once this threshold is reached your entire team will receive 20 percent increased attack and a 12 percent attack speed increase.
1. Beacon Of The Reed Sea - Five Star

If you are building Freminet to deal large amounts of cryo damage, then he will be buffed the most by Beacon Of The Reed Sea, which is Dehya's unique weapon. This claymore gives you a flat crit rate increase of 33.1 percent, while also boosting your attack by 20 percent whenever you take damage or use your elemental skill.
Luckily, these two attack bonuses can exist at the same time, and can even be triggered when your character is not on-field. Sadly, this weapon is only obtainable via an event wish, so it is unclear when this claymore can be wished for in the future.
