Genshin Impact Leak Confirms Upcoming Skin

A new Genshin Impact leak has confirmed the existence of a previously rumored skin planned to release with the Version 3.8 update in July. While most of HoYoverse's big additions to its flagship RPG are new characters, the developer has also dabbled in skins. Several beloved characters like Keqing and Ayaka have received their own skins with many of the game's alternate outfits available as free rewards through events. Now, a prominent leaker has exciting news for fans of Mondstadt's Crimson Knight.

Genshin Impact's Version 3.8 update has already seen a plethora of leaks related to both the contents of the patch and characters featured on its gacha banners. The patch is heavily expected to introduce a new limited-time island region in a similar vein to the often-featured Golden Apple Archipelago. Multiple character re-runs are also planned for Version 3.8 including the rumored return of Eula, currently boasting the longest gap since her last appearance on the limited banner. Now, a well-known leaker is confirming Klee will be receiving a new skin with the update.

A new update shared by prominent Genshin Impact leaker SpendYourPrimos has confirmed the existence of a new skin for Klee coming in the near future. The leaker validated previous rumors that placed the skin releasing during Version 3.8 and also confirmed that the leaked art of the Klee skin was "very close to the final design." Klee has featured as a main character in each Golden Apple Archipelago update so far, both in Versions 1.8 and 2.8. Klee has also received a re-run on the gacha banner during each of those updates.

Genshin Impact Leak Confirms Upcoming Skin

The suggested Klee skin comes as part of several character-related rumors connected to the Version 3.8 update's launch this summer. A previous leak from prominent leaker group Team China revealed that Version 3.8 would not add any new characters to Genshin Impact. The lack of a new cast member would be the first time since Genshin Impact's launch that a new update has not introduced at least one playable character. Other leaks have also heavily hinted at an unnamed upcoming character from Inazuma, previously believed to debut in Version 3.8.

While Version 3.8's limited-time region is still a few months away, Genshin Impact recently debuted the newest update to the game's map. The Version 3.6 update saw the introduction of the "Girdle of the Sands" region of Sumeru's desert, adding a new world boss and a new weekly boss to the RPG. Version 3.6 also introduced two characters in Baizhu and Kaveh, as well as a pair of new Artifact sets for players to acquire. A new Klee skin coming in the near future will be sure to please plenty of fans of the explosive knight.
