Windwheel Aster Locations in Genshin Impact

Windwheel Aster is one of the many local specialties in Genshin Impact. The flower can only be seen in certain areas that belong to Mondstadt. It is greatly adored by the citizens of Mondstadt, especially children, and they call it the ‘visible winds’.

Windwheel Aster acts as an Ascension material to some Genshin Impact characters, which are Traveler, Bennett, and Sucrose. Other than the typical methods of gathering flowers, it’s also possible to plant them inside the Teapot or buy them from a merchant.

Windwheel Aster Locations In Genshin Impact

Before starting the journey of collecting Windwheel Aster in Genshin Impact, make sure to use characters that’ll facilitate the journey. Klee or Mika is a great option since they have a passive that allows them to locate all Mondstadt specialties on the mini-map. Also, Nahida can collect multiple flowers using her Elemental Skill.

Players can locate around 70 Windwheel Asters in these four different areas within Mondstadt:

1. Starfell Lake

2. Windrise

3. Dawn Winery

4. Stormterror’s Lair

Starfell Lake

Only two Windwheel Asters can be found a bit northwest of the Starfell Lake Statue of the Seven. Jump into the water from the statue and walk up the shore to take it.

Windrise

A total of 18 Windwheel Asters are scattered around the Windrise Statue of the Seven in Genshin Impact.

1. The first four flowers are south of the statue near the river, behind the giant tree.

2. Return to the statue to find four more northwest.

3. Head east to see four Windwheel Asters.

4. Turn southeast to collect two more flowers.

5. Now go south and cross the river to gather the remaining Windwheel Asters.

Dawn Winery

Travelers can collect nine Windwheel Asters from the Statue of the Seven near the Dawn Winery. The flowers aren’t far from the statue as they can be found around it along with some Anemo Crystalflies in Genshin Impact.

Stormterror’s Lair

A whopping 42 Windwheel Asters are scattered around Stormterror’s Lair in Genshin Impact.

1. Teleport to the Waypoint northeast of the Stormterror’s Lair Statue of the Seven and keep going west to gather 15 flowers.

2. Only four flowers are seen by heading southwest from the Waypoint north of the statue.

3. Fast-travel to the Teleport Waypoint west of the statue and go west to fly up the wind current and collect four Windwheel Asters.

4. Go back to the same Waypoint and collect three flowers by going south.

5. Nine Windwheel Asters are found in the area east of the same Waypoint.

6. Head to the Teleport Waypoint southeast of the statue and walk to the end of the bridge. Jump down east to find some Windwheel Asters under the bridge.

7. The final four Windwheel Asters are found east.

Sadly, 70 Windwheel Asters aren’t enough to fully level up a character in Genshin Impact. Therefore, players might need to collect the flowers again when the Windwheel Aster respawn after 48 hours or visit another player’s world.
